Our Background

Coach Roger Cortel is a dedicated and passionate basketball coach committed to developing athletes both on and off the court. He is a 94 Feet of Game Certified Coach and currently serves as an Assistant Coach for Junior Basketball at Tamanawis Secondary School.

Coach Roger  is also serve us a  Head Coach of Fundamental Basketball and Waves Elite Basketball, where he focuses on player development, basketball fundamentals, game IQ, teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

With a strong commitment to youth development, Coach Cortel strives to help athletes reach their full potential by building strong basketball foundations, developing competitive skills, and creating a positive environment where players can grow as athletes and as individuals.

His coaching philosophy centers on fundamentals, hard work, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Through his experience and dedication to the game, Roger continues to help shape and inspire the next generation of basketball players.
